Global Midwest Alliance invites you to its first program in the Alliance's 2016 Innovation, Growth and Globalization Industry-Focused Series. Past food industry programs have focused on food safety, including policy changes, science-based opportunities, and global food products and sustainability.

Join us on May 25 as Global Midwest Alliance and its sponsors, Abbott Nutrition, Griffith Foods Worldwide, Inc. and the Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH), along with co-host, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, for a food industry program focused on navigating today's consumer expectations in the areas of food and nutrition.

Following a keynote speech, two panel sessions will focus on the dynamic markets trends in food that meet unique and growing consumer desires juxtaposed against the increasing demand for sustainable nutrition for a growing population. The Innovation Panel will focus on a reflection of today's modern consumer food choices versus "grandma's pantry" and will address some of the changing consumer desires and marketing strategies for today's consumer.

The Growth and Global Opportunities panel will examine unique opportunities to satisfy diverse global needs in food security and nutrition.

This program will be held the day following the Midwest Food Matters Gala in Chicago. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how today's pantry is changing both the local and global landscape.

You will also have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and service providers, C-suite executives of food, agriculture, beverage, packaging and service companies, economic development specialists and groups interested in growth and global opportunities.

The cost to attend this industry breakfast program is $75 per person, payable at the time of registration.

Seats are limited.  Please register on or before May 20, 2016.
